Chicken RUN!!!

posted on

June 15, 2023

One of the chicken got loose while I was moving the chicken tractors. I didn't think much of it as this occasionally happens. I continued to set about feeding and watering the rest of the chickens, as I would normally catch any mischievous chicken that had escaped afterwards. Whilst I was watering the other chickens, I heard Gideon, my little helper, saying, "Chick'n! Chick'n!" . Next thing I knew he was chasing it around on his stubby little toddler legs. It was quite the spectacle. I was able to capture some of the moment to share with you. Enjoy! :)

How we move chicks to pasture

Moving 450 chicks out to pasture can be a labor some task. There are a few things I've implemented to help make the process easier for the family and less stressful on the chicks. Check out the video to see the mobile brooder, the chick-slide, and more.
