We pick up golden comet hens a few times a year. The next batch we will be arriving late summer (August/September). 

Feel free to place your order so that you can reserve your laying hens. We will contact you closer to August/ Sept so that you know when to expect them at our farm for pick-up.

We do not raise these hens ourselves, but buy them from a friend in OH a couple of hours away. We offer them through our website so you can pick them up from our farm instead of having to make that long trip yourself! 

A pullet is a female chicken that is about ready to start laying eggs. For transportation reasons, we like to get them a few weeks before they start laying so they have time to adjust to their new home.
